Open Call for Land Art works to be carried out as part of the AESON ATLAS project, spread along the territories of the Isonzo River and for the AESON festival from 17 to 20 July 2024

As part of the widespread project AESON ATLAS, the Ecopark ODV Association intends to evaluate the production of projects of environmental works of art to be installed in the territories of the Isonzo River with the aim of creating a CROSS-BORDER PATH OF ARTS IN NATURE also connected to the capital of Culture NOVA GORICA GORIZIA 2025. The works will be placed in both municipalities along the Isonzo river and as part of the works park of the AESON Festival which in 2024 will be held from 17 to 20 July 2023 in Fiumicello Villa Vicentina (UD).
THE PLACES:
The works will be located in areas of equal value in the municipalities that overlook the Isonzo River, a cross-border river that originates in Slovenia and flows into Italy at the northernmost point of the Adriatic Sea. The works will dialogue with the landscape and its stories and will be territorial markers, defining the first cross-border route of arts in nature in Europe. Some of the works will become part of the scenography for the AESON nature arts festival which will be held from 17 to 20 July 2024.
